NFFC Champions Magazine League Openings

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Apr 17, 2009 4:39 am

Okay, we are looking for worthy participants to help us with our first football issue of Fantasy Sports Magazine. We are looking for 14 champions from any of our 2008 NFFC Classic leagues to compete in a magazine league where all of the results will be published in the August Fantasy Sports Magazine issue. The draft will be held on Monday, May 4th at 7 EST.

The first 14 NFFC champions to sign up will get a spot in the draft. If we don't get 14 past champions, then we'll grab from a list of folks who sign up on the boards and are signed up for the 2009 event. All participants must be part of the 2009 event.

You can post your intentions here or e-mail me at [email protected]. I'll update the list and get this rolling soon enough. We'll use the same rules as the main event, 3RR with KDS. We'll post a deadline when you can e-mail your KDS preferences to me. Remember that the NFFC Classic is 19 rounds this year.

We'll play this league out and the league champ will get a $500 credit for 2010. Sound good?

Look for a similar post for an NFFC Primetime Magazine Draft. If you can't get into this event and want to do that one, we'll also run those results in the magazine and play it out for a $500 credit. We also want to run an auction league in the magazine, but we're not sure any of the auction sites will be up and running before our early May deadline. Stay tuned on that.

Heck, we might even run a Draft Champions Magazine League, so stay tuned. But for now, let's get this signup list started. Who wants to join us for their two minutes of fame? The signup list starts here:

There are several folks who wanted to get in this magazine league and we just filled up faster than expected. But we'll have at least one more format in this first issue, so hang tight. I'll have more details soon and then we'll GET IT ON!!! :D

So much for the defending champion defending his title! That filled up way too fast!
