I tried an FFOC draft last night... and look what I found.

First - Greg and Tom I hope you don't mind me posting about this on here. If anything it makes me appreciate the integrity of the NFFC.
Let's face it, I'm trying to kill off the next 30 days asap so I decided to give the FFOC a whirl and had my "July" draft last night in league 82. I noticed something terribly wrong very early on from one owner on auto draft:
5th Pick 1st round - Donovan McNabb (with Brady still on the board)
2nd round - NYG Defense! yay
...And they didn't get much better from there.
So of course this set off a SH#@ storm in the draft room with people accusing each other of collusion etc. As I see it, given the format, there are a few possible scenarios here.
1. Someone was trying to cheat (first knee jerk reaction)
2. Someone from another contest decided to have a little fun for a measly $125.
3. The allure of the prize versus the entry fee has truly lured in some first timers and they really don't have ANY idea what they are doing. ie. NYG Defense was good in the Super Bowl! I'll take them!
4. This owner knew he wasn't making the draft, tried to do some pre-ranking, and just simply screwed it up... BAD. or the software wasn't working right. (though two other owners were on auto-draft and wound up with decent teams)
After thinking it through, I really doubt it was another owner trying to make his draft stronger. If someone was trying to cheat, why make it that obvious and controversial.
Here is the entire draft: http://www.ffoc.com/mytools/viewrosters.php?leag=82
People are blowing up about it over on the other board - http://www.ffoc.com/forum/thread.php?thread_id=210
I'd be interested to hear everyone's thoughts on this situation.
