Here's Tom's FBG Team: Have At It

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Aug 22, 2011 3:13 pm

Okay, I'm going to have fun tonight and promote Tom's team and the FBG league we're competing in. This should show the industry that we're all here to work together. And since I gave Dave a $100,000 NFFC check two years ago, it's only right that he gives this year's FBG $100,000 grand prize to me or Tom!!! :D Let's see if Tom drafts a team that can challenge for that grand prize now.

He's drafting in the four spot and took:
Jamaal Charles - Foster, Rice, Peterson were first 3

Tom's Team:
1. Jamaal Charles, RB
2. Miles Austin, WR
3. Reggie Wayne, WR

The Peyton Factor has affected Wayne. He couldn't let him go at 28, don't you think? Just too good to let go. Now Peyton just needs to be ready for the opener. Round 3 looked like this:

3.4 Wayne, R. WR (IND)
3.3 Gates, A. TE (SDG)
3.2 Bowe, D. WR (KAN)
3.1 Hillis, P. RB (CLE)

Was Jennings available at 2.9? Would seem to be more reliable than Austin at that point.

Not sure if it's cuz of the dual flex but this really has the feel of an old-school draft. RBs are being gobbled up and WRs are dropping and becoming great values.

Wayne lasted till 41 in a FBG draft I did a few nights ago.

Love the first two picks.

Don't like Williams at all. Depends who else was there.

DeAngelo in the 4th seems pretty decent to me, especially since Stewart's Achilles won't last past week 6.
