The Friday signups are pouring in. We are now at 301 participants for the NFFC. Can we get seven more and reach 308? It's looking like that could happen.

Stay tuned. :D

Signup deadline for the NFFC main events is Sunday afternoon, if you're still interested. We do have room for:

NFFC main event: 7 teams
NBC Sports NFFC Primetime main event: 10 teams

In the NBC Sports main event, we will fill out full leagues in these cities with one more signup:

NY: 71 teams (1 spot left in a full league)
LV: 83 teams (1 spot left in a full league)
CHI: 47 teams (1 spot left in a full league)

First ones in today get the spots in full leagues and after that they would be hooked up via teleconference from those cities if needed. Don't delay if you're interested in a team in one of those cities. Thanks all.

Greg thank's for everything and it's almost time for you to relax. It wouldn't have been the same without you playing in both.

Good Luck!

John

I'll relax on Thursday at the Flamingo pool!!! :D You know that. It's all good, once this part is over with. Thanks again.

We're now at 302 for the NFFC event and 244 for the NBC event. That means we're six away from filling up one more league for the 14-team event and eight away from filling up one more 12-team league. Can we get there? We could use another late-afternoon kick like we got yesterday. So if you're looking to sign up, we still have some spots but time is running out so don't delay.

Anthony Cincotta and Patrick Welsh have agreed to move out of the $650 Draft Champions League in Orlando and into the NFFC Classic main event, allowing us to now have 14 teams for the NY-Orlando Draft Champions League on Friday, Aug. 29th. That also gives us 303 teams for the NFFC Classic main event. Thanks guys and best of luck now in the hunt for the $100,000 grand prize.

Greg, am I understanding that even though I have signed up early in Orlando, I will still have to be in a phone-in live draft?

Why can't you have all early signups in Orlando in 1 league and then the balance do the league with the phone-drafters?

There were 14 teams that signed up early, right?

Or 12 for the NBC?

I understand the complexities that unbalanced leagues present, but I see a full league of early signups for both Main Events.

It will be very disappointing if this is the case, just as it was last year.

Seems like there should be something in it for people that sign up 6 months before the event. :(

Not sure what the value of this statement is otherwise..."All earlybird signups are guaranteed to be in full leagues, as stated in our rules."
