thanks to all my friends for a great time in Chicago.

Darryl, Mike F, Wayne, Bob, Jeff, Brian, Jack,
Chris, Rob, Mike W, BWaz.

Darryl's hospitality and Rob's food on Thursday night with as much fun/competition as one could ask for Friday.

i wasn't there for the Classic or Primetime, but if it was half as much fun as the Auction on Friday, Kudos to everybody.

Good Luck to everybody and see you next year for the first annual Chicago Auction/DC  .

BTW Ginger/MaryAnn or Ginger/Crown... ;) ...we'll let Route C decide.

I agree with all your points, Bill. Other than filling my fantasy football fix, no question the best part is hanging out and talking with friends. You know times have changed when one of the guys opens up his home and invites another 12 guys over for food, fun and fellowship before he does battle the next 2 days.

Agreed.

Thanks to Daryl for opening up his home to this group of fantasy fanatics. This a great group of folks and it was a pleasure to get to know you all a tad better.

Good Luck to all this year!

Just got back from Chicago about 3 hours ago, and am STILL full from all the great food we had in Chicago!

I also want to thank Darryl for opening his home, and to Rob for making some FANTASTIC food on Thursday night. Also, thanks to the Clampitt boys for getting me to the airport and for the "entertainment" Welp provided on the way to the airport! ;) LOL!

Honestly, it was such a great time meeting up with all the good people of Chicago, and as much as I dread drafting against most of you, I love the competition and the laughs and good times we had all weekend. Hopefully we added another member to the "Chicago brethren", as it was great meeting Brian Owens, and he too now seems to be hooked as a "Chicago NFFC'er". :D

The drafts were a lot of fun. The venue was not all that great IMO, but the people in charge did a great job.

The food was ATROCIOUS, and it was criminal that Fanball was charged so much for that crap. When the hot dogs and burgers were out, there was NO KETCHUP to be found!!! Maybe not a big deal, but the food sucked.

If I can put in a vote for next year, I say we go back to no events fee and fend for ourselves on food. I didn't pay any events fees because I signed up early, but I truly feel for those who did. Other cities had wings..... we had lousy burgers and dogs. It was so bad that none of us even wanted to eat there Saturday night, and we went to the RAM.

It isn't about the food though. It is about a GREAT weekend of drafting football with good friends and having a lot of laughs!

Great seeing all the "regulars", and meeting some new people as well! :D

I was happy to host a very good group. Rob did a FANTASTIC job on the Thursday food - and with solid breakfast get togethers each morning I didn't even care that the catered food was light in quality. Any venue will job ya for the food so as long as you're forced to buy it - there's just not much you can do - except do what we did which was to enjoy great eats out in Chicagoland after the events. It's just a few bucks that don't go perfectly your way which is OK by me. Track location was WAY BETTER than the Rosemont warehouse the year before so I'm all for that location again.

It was a GREAT weekend and I wish everyone a good year - just finish a few points behind Bubba. We've gifted those in our Classic with a very poor draft performance, but the rest of the leagues the Tomatoes should compete well.

I'll look forward to hosting another pre-NFFC event next year. BubbasHouse will be open so long as I don't get hitched - and since I'm 22 years clean on that I think we'll be a go ;) I just don't need anyone telling me I play too much Fantasy Football!!!!
