Fast Facts After Week 4

Injuries, injuries, injuries. They are playing havoc on all of our rosters and making each week's FAAB pickups even more critical. Through four weeks of the NFFC season, every owner has had to scramble with their lineups as this is one of the most interesting NFL seasons to date. Unreal.

The NFFC season is also an interesting one this year as we now have had four different leaders after each of the first four weeks of action. I'll continue to do a weekly wrapup after each week so that we can see how the contest is playing out. Here is this week's fast facts from the main event and a look at how 3RR is playing out this year.

First of all, let's look at the Top 36 teams in total points since those teams are guaranteed spots in the Championship Round (top 10% of total teams, which is 364). Here's the breakdown of where those teams drafted from:

Picks 1-5: 13 Teams
Picks 6-9: 9 Teams
Picks 10-14: 14 Teams

Now here is where each of those teams drafted from:

No. 1 - 3 teams
No. 2 - 3
No. 3 - 2
No. 4 - 2
No. 5 - 3
No. 6 - 0
No. 7 - 2
No. 8 - 3
No. 9 - 4
No. 10 - 1
No. 11 - 3
No. 12 - 2
No. 13 - 6
No. 14 - 2

** It's interesting to note that of the Top 8 teams in total points right now, they come from EIGHT different draft spots. The Top 8, in order, drafted from 2, 5, 12, 10, 13, 1, 9 and 8. Top 8 teams = 8 different draft spots. Pretty cool.

** No. 6 is the only spot that isn't represented in the Top 36 overall, which is interesting since five teams border from the No. 5 and No. 7 spots. The top No. 6 team overall is now at 40th, up from last week.

It's also interesting to note that we still have 36 undefeated teams in the main event after four weeks. Our number one team is 4-0 and we go down as far as 217th overall to find our final 4-0 team. Congrats to everyone who is off to a fast start.

Remember, this year we automatically give $5,000 to the league champion that leads after Week 13 in h2h record and total points. If two teams split those honors, we'll award $2,500 to each team and then provide a three-week playoff between those two teams for the remaining $2,500 and the title of league champion. That league playoff series is total points from Weeks 14-16 as they do NOT carry in their weekly scoring average for that playoff. Good luck all.

Could you please tell me the lotto numbers for this week. Please need to win money since fantasy teams look like hell right now. lol I am not sure these guys were drafting high...5 out of the 7 you mentioned were most likely waiver wire pickups. Even if you blew alot of $$ on D. Ward, you would still have the $ left to pick up the 4 others in FA (Bowe, Detroit D, D Anderson, S MacDonald) and still have some change left over for Andre Davis

As far as the lottery...I do the quick pick...the most I got was 4 out of 6 #'s and received about 65 bux. But my next door neighbor growing up, Spencer, he hit for $22 million dollars in the NY Lottery. He got about 8 million after taxes. When I got married, I figured he would throw me a bone with a gift of like $1000 check. After my wedding was over and we opened the cards, I grabbed Spencers and slowly opened it up...I was excited.....BUT to my dismay as I glanced at the check of $120.00 (horrible gift for a couple)...I was so mad I stopped shoveling the snow off his porch when I would come home to help my parents whenever there was a NY storm. oh well

Why is this data so important to everyone when FAAB picks and lineup decisions have just as much bearing as the draft on the outcome?

The fact that I started Rivers over Ben last week changed the data above.
