Stephen Davis is out for up to 4-6 weeks. Knee Surgery. I hope everyone that took Davis, took Deshawn Foster too.

Davis may only be out 2-3 weeks and next week is the Carolina bye anyway, so he may miss only 1-2 games.

Given the way the drafts went with the emphasis on RB’s I guess very few owners in the NFFC have both. I personally have a fellow named Curtis Martin to slot into my lineup for him.

don't kid yourself. s.davis will never get the feature role back, even IF he comes back in 4-6 weeks. his day is over. it's gonna be the dreaded RBBC. please come back davis. if you don't, the lucky bastards who got d.foster are moving up the overall rankings.

I heard 2-5 weeks on ESPN radio just now, aNNOY. And unless you forgot, Martin is also off Week 3 so after this week, I'd say you're in deep s__t for a while. This kind of dumb drafting reminds me of something Lloyd Bentsen said to Dan Quayle during the vp debates of 88 except I'm going to put it in NFFC terms, "I know Gordon Gekko, and you, sir, are no Gordon Gekko." When you do something worthwhile or annoy everyone on the MB's, then you can have your own thread. Until then, you and your clowns in Chicago #3 need to stick to having your worthless conversations on your League Forum and leave this forum open to intelligent conversation.

TamuScarecrow what the hell is up with you and this clown fetish? Sounds like you and Gordo must run in the same circles, especially since you seem to idolize him.

FYI most of the people I am sparring with on the board are not in Chicago #3. The love for me extends well into the general public.

I looked at all 16 S Davis owners and only ONE of them was fortunate enough to land Foster. Makes sense since they could not afford to blow a 5th-6th rounder on him and the teams that did take him were in great need of a RB at that point. One team has Alexander and S. Davis (going to be a long weekend for them) another has Shipp and Buckhalter with his only active RB being Eddie George (wish that team was in my league).

Definition of clown - someone who makes people laugh. NNOY, you qualify. It's not a fetish, just fact. As for Gordo, I don't idolize him but after having a chance to talk to the man in Vegas and draft against him in 3 leagues, the man does show intelligence in person that he doesn't show on the MB's. Now question, NNOY, why did you use your 2nd and 3rd picks on rb's that were off the same week?
