Sorry, I just had to tease that a bit!

We are going to go into the Fanball studio in about an hour and videotape the draft selections for the debut NFFC Diamond League. We will unveil the draft order via video tomorrow. Light a candle folks, say a prayer and hope the Bingo ball bounces your way!! We're picking them soon and letting you see how it all went about.

We'll do the Las Vegas Super League as well today because all 14 owners are set in stone there. We are still waiting for payment from two owners in the Ultimate League and in the two other Super Leagues, but with any luck we'll clear those up and pick those soon, too. The goal is to have all five of these leagues picked, videotaped and posted by Friday. But we need your help in doing so. Contact us about payment if you haven't already sent in your check. We can't reveal the draft spots until we hear from you. Thanks all.

The NFFC Diamond League Draft Selection Show has been taped and draft spots will be aired tomorrow on Fanball.com. This one worked pretty well. Here are the KDS preferences submitted by the 12 Diamond League owners and some quick facts:

** Two owners got their 2nd preference, so 50% got a Top 2 preference.

** Average KDS spot received was 3.66.

We also picked the draft order for the Las Vegas Super League on Sunday, Sept. 5th and will show the video of that one tomorrow. That one was a little more interesting and less successful than the Diamond League because many people had similar KDS strategies. Two people got their first preference but two others also got their 13th preference. That rarely happens. Anyway, here's the KDS preferences that were submitted for this league and the quick facts:

** The average KDS received was 5.2, low for us, but still not bad.

** Interestingly, 7 was the lowest KDS listed 6 of 14 times. It is in the Top 7 on only two owners' list. 7, 8 and 9 seem to be the least desired spots for some reason. No. 12 was the top preference on three owners' lists.

Thoughts? No one likes Steven Jackson, yet someone in mid Rd 1 always feels compelled to take him. Also, most don't have a huge preference among the 5 WRs that go after AJ, so they'd rather have an earlier pick in rds 2/3. Thus, #7 is this year's red-headed stepchild.
