I feel like the 2011 Boston Red Sox

So 3 weeks ago I'm 3rd out of 948 in the Online Championship. My team is rolling and I have a huge points lead and 2 game lead with 3 to play. Feeling pretty good at this point...
Fred Jackson, done - that hurt. Spend all remaining $ on Kevin Smith, who looks great for a half of a quarter till the ankle gives... It's ok, at least I still have Forte for this week, and into the playoffs...
So now I lost 3 in a row and the 2 game lead ended with being down a game. I am limping into the playoffs and a 3 week playoff with the team I had a 2 game lead on.
No matter how much you prepare and how good you think your skills are the injury bug can just sneak up and decimate you. There is a ton of luck involved here. Skill will get you to the dance but luck will decide if you leave with the girl...
