but the evidence suggests that taking a RB in round 1/2 is a gamble simply not worth taking.

injuries and indifferent form are killing teams who took a running back (or two) early.

It's way too early and I'm not sure it's correct anyway. Rice, CJ, AP, Turner are all going to score lots of points. Gore has been awesome. Plenty of people drafted Best and Foster in Rd. 2 and that seems to be working out OK. MJD is a question. Matthews hasn't worked but he was a massive overdraft by people anyway. Grant wasn't a top 2 round pick even though he went there sometimes. If you drafted Greene that high you weren't paying attention.

They haven't been a 100% hit but neither have the WRs. Jennings has stunk. Moss has done nothing. Marshall has been mediocre. Megaton has been disappointment. Anyway, it's way too early.

We took Gore at #5 overall and couldn't be happier. Best in rd 3 as well...

I took Gore #5 in Primetime and he got me a win that great game he had this past week. I would have to say some of these wide receivers are really disappointing this year, i.e. Bernard Berrian, Devin Aromashadu, etc...
