Only Nine Undefeated Teams Remain

Four unbeaten teams fell to defeat in Week 6, leaving the NFFC with just nine remaining undefeated teams. Four unbeaten teams remain in Chicago, three in Las Vegas and two in New York. Only one league -- Chicago League 2 -- has two undefeated teams left.

I'll analyze the draft positions of these teams later and I've requested again for STATS to add the records to the overall points page. They haven't done that yet, but it will get done soon and that will be a nice addition as everyone compares the overall points leaders with their head-to-head records.

It's interesting to note that only three of the undefeated teams have Daunte Culpepper on their rosters and all three took him in the first round, which may have seemed like a gamble at the time. Two teams took him at the 13th spot and one at the 12th spot.

The most common players on the undefeated teams are Tiki Barber, Curtis Martin and Eric Johnson. Two of the undefeated teams had the first overall pick and both teams took LaDainian Tomlinson instead of Priest Holmes. There isn't one undefeated team left that has Priest Holmes on their roster.

Here's a little more analysis on the nine undefeated NFFC teams and where they drafted in their particular leagues. As mentioned above, two of the teams drafted first overall, three drafted 12th, two drafted 13th, one drafted fourth and one drafted fifth. All of their point totals are among the top in the NFFC, so nobody is getting "lucky" wins among this group. Enjoy the analysis.
