It's Sunday Night, Any Questions?

I see a lot of people on the Message Boards tonight and I happen to be working late, trying to catch up for being out of town for the last two days (damn family weddings). Since it's going to take me a few more hours to get through 200+ e-mails, I thought I'd let everyone know I'm available to answer any questions you have about the NFFC or football in general. Shoot them here if you want tonight and I'll stick around to answer them. Let's get serious about this as the NFL's regular season is right around the corner.

Oh, I'm not trying to infer that 200+ e-mails are about the NFFC. That would be dishonest. At least 100 are for growing my ***** thicker and bigger, or for lasting longer, or for teenage girls going to college or something like that. I've been a straight shooter so far and wanted to be honest with you on this last post.

Unfortunately, those 100 e-mails I mentioned above will still take time to go through, if you know what I mean! ;) ;)

In the interest of expediting your workload, feel free to forward me all of the e-mails about the college girls. It's the least I can do to help them further their ... educations. :D

Why did I know you'd be at home waiting for those e-mails to arrive? ;) You get to answer any of the football-related questions since I unfortunately didn't get a chance to see any pre-season games this weekend? Did any starting QB play more than one series this weekend?

The NFL is a great, great league, but as a Packers' season ticket holder who MUST pay full value for pre-season games to watch no names commit 25 penalties, I've always felt this was a complete ripoff by the NFL. There is no need for 4 pre-season games and Michael Vick's injury last year will just make all pre-season games going forward useless and a waste of time. I don't see many starters playing more than half a game in any of the pre-season games this year.

Typical first weekend of the pre-season for the most part. One notable exception was Ron Dayne, who looks like a completely different RB. I tend not to get too excited about pre-season performance, but Dayne is definitely doing everything Coughlin wants him to do.

Hey guys...When are you going to start having the drafts on ESPN? Those Poker Tournaments are losing ratings and they need something new for the sports fanatics.

Diesel, at the rate the fantasy industry is growing, I don't think we're too far away from the day when some television entity will air fantasy drafts live or at least broadcast from a major fantasy event. That's certainly something we'd like to see happen, that's for sure.

Hey, one food for thought here tonight as I'm going through these e-mails. So many people are asking "how many people do you have signed up NOW for the NFFC?" and of course I honestly tell them. I've said on another thread exactly how many we have.

Here's a deal for those people who want to guarantee a spot in the NFFC, but are afraid something will change between now and Draft Day. Give me a call at 715-445-4612, ext. 284 and I'll take your application over the phone and not even ask for payment right now. Hell, we don't want your money as much as we want everyone's commitment. If by next Thursday, Aug. 26th you don't like what you see in the NFFC, we won't run your credit card. And if you're happy with the way the NFFC is going, we'll run your application 11 days from now and save your credit card from getting hit with the bill.

So sign up now and pay later. We think you'll be able to trust us enough in the next two weeks to keep your spot in the NFFC. But call me to take advantage of this offer and we'll work together to gain your trust in the NFFC.

For those who can't see the game tonight between the Broncos and Bills, Quentin Griffin has looked good again, gaining 44 yards on 9 carries. At the rate he's going, I don't see any way another RB is the Week 1 starter. Now whether Griffin will still be the starter by Week 8 or Week 9 ...

Meanwhile, Travis Henry had a tough time against Denver's D (6 yards on 6 carries) and McGahee has run well against the second-team D.
