Blunder?

Was it a mistake not picking up a 2nd Def. for week 16 games knowing that AZ had to go into NE. Especially knowing NE would need the game and AZ does not. Houston is the best FA def. left in my league and they have Oakland this week.
However, if I had, would I have been tempted to use Houston earlier and lost out on the 2 good weeks AZ has put up.

There is now potentially snow in the forcecast here in N.E. for Sunday afternoon. Pray for snow and a sloppy, low scoring, turnover filled game.
