Special Teams Fumbles

This actually would hurt me if enforced correctly (opponent has Demaryius Thomas), so this is not whining about rules.

But is it really fair to deduct a fumble point from guys on Special Teams turnovers, when they can't get points for the Special Teams touchdown? Thomas was credited with a fumble that occurred on a Kickoff Return -- I don't think this should count against him. If TD's don't count, then all Special Teams stats should be neutral or it's a detriment to have your guys returning kicks.

That's probably a computing error. Special teams fumbles DON'T count against individual players.

Special teams fumbles do come in as an individual stat and it's something we have to correct after the games. Feel free to point those out to us if we didn't manually get those done on Monday.

I brought this up last year. I believe a fumble should be scored as a deduction for the D/ST.
Maybe next year.
