What's the over/under on Brees' numbers for Week 3? 500 yards and 5 TDs?

For the under?

The better question is...

What happens in Week 4 when Drew Brees (14 TDs through 3 games) goes against the New...York...Jets (zero rushing or passing TDs allowed through 3 games)?

Can't wait to find out! :D

#1 - Your NY Jets still have to face the winless TITANs and will not be at 0 Tds after that game.

#2 - Reevis can’t cover all the receivers that the SAINTS will be sending his way.

#3 - But do enjoy your time at the top - this is the NFL and things will change.

Can't wait to find out! :D Marques Colston will be taken out of the game by Revis, but expect Meachem, Henderson, or dare I say Moore (if healthy) to find the holes in the secondary. Shockey and Bush should be pretty active in the passing game as well.

And of course Heath Evans will have his weekly score! :D

At the end of the day, Brees puts up 280 and 2 TD's with 1 INT for 25 NFFC fantasy points in Week 4 But New Orleans loses 20-17.

Then the thread will start that says people should consider dropping him because he didn't score 30+.

For the under? I say 325 with 3 TD and 2 picks.

Assuming you don't have Brees/Rivers/Peyton, would you start Trent Edwards as Buffalo will probably be playing catch-up all day?

Under. This is the type of game that you would expect Brees to explode, but I think he had his best game of the season Week 1.

We would expect him to put up some monster numbers against this D, but the expectations will be to high.

I say 290-310 passing, 2 TD, 2 INT

Right now, I'm going with 755 yards and 8 TDs for Brees.

At halftime.

I could adjust that projection before Sunday.

:D
