Friday-Sunday football chat thread...

Post by pizzatyme » Fri May 02, 2008 8:11 am

Come on people, I'm dying to talk football with my NFFC family. Today is dead on the boards. Maybe i just have too much time on my hands?!

Rumor has it the Iggles are sweetening the offer for #85. Possibly 2 firsts and DeSean Jackson? Rumor, but what if?

Also, I currently have Brady projected for 38 TDs and 4000 yards. Does this make him a 1st round lock in your eyes?

IF THE EAGLES GET A HOLD OF CHAD THEN I BELIEVE HE WILL PUT UP THE SAME NUMBERS THAT OWENS DID WHEN HE WAS THERE.

ALSO WOULD MEAN A MCNABB UPGRADE.

IF BRADY CAN SWING THE NUMBERS YOU A STATING RUSS THEN HE WOULD BE A FIRST ROUND PICK INDEED.

WITH THAT BEING SAID HOW MANY T.D.'S DO YOU HAVE MOSS PENCILED IN FOR?

McNabb is scary in a H2H league with injury concerns. In a DC on the other hand...

And I know Brady could drop back further in TDs, I just don't see them tweaking their winning formula too much from last year, Especially if all are healthy.

YEAH HE IS. I KNOW FEELEY PLAYED WELL LAST YEAR IN MCNABB'S ABSENCE BUT IF CHAD DID GET TRADED THERE I ONLY THINK HIS VALUE WOULD BE TOP FLIGHT WITH MCNABB BEHIND CENTER.

THERE ARE ALOT OF RB COMMITEE SITUATIONS OUT THERE.

DO YOU THINK ANY OF THEM HAVE A CHANCE OF FEATURING ONE BACK TO HELP "FANTASY PURPOSES"

Chester Taylor can help, if you "but him right". Same for MJD or Fred Taylor, etc.

Philly needs Chad Johnson if they intend on competing.

Reggie Brown is beginning to look a LOT like Nate Burleson. So much promise, and then...nothing.

Westbrook wouldn't complain about this idea either. How much can one man be asked to do?

Re: RBBC:

With 4-5 RB's in the NewEngland mix, I wonder how Sammy Morris will be factored in this year.

Maroney 60% of the touches
Morris 25%
Faulk 10%
Rest 5%

Until Maroney gets hurt again...

RBBC. NFL teams are in love with it this year. Fantasy owners hate it!!! :D Doesn't everyone seem to be going towards rotating backfields this year?
