I've done some serious research, and the cheapest room I find available for the New York Hilton for 1 night(Friday Sept.3) is $209.00. After taxes and/or service fee, it comes to about $240.00...If anyone else knows of a website or knows someone with a discount code for this Hotel that would be cheaper, please let me know. Thanks.

If I have to take a cab/train/bus to get to another hotel, I might as well just head home to Staten Island. Maybe I'll sleep in Central Park. That's free. lol

$179 listed on the hilton website if you pay online up front (called Net Direct rate and is not refundable)-- $199 otherwise.

I am staying at the Quality Inn a little over 1/4 mile from the Hilton and got in a month or so ago for $125 a night. I just checked, and the same room is now $197!

my advice would be to go to Expedia and check it out. You also have to remember that there going to add a hotel tax and parking is pretty steep, so you better count on close to an extra $50 on top of our hotel price.

Although I didn't get the opportunity to win free autographed stuff, I guess there was an advantage to signing up early! ;)

If you're just looking at cost, you might want to consider staying in Secaucus, NJ at a number of hotels there. There is a bus (NJT Route 320) that goes to Port Authority every 20 minutes. You can walk from Port Authority to the Hilton.

Not great from a convenience point of view but will save you money.

*I looked into parking, and I thought I read somewhere that it's $40.00 per 24 hour period at the Hilton. So you're looking at $80.00 if you're in for all 3 Drafts and driving.
