Good Strategy or Classless Act?

Last week, I wanted to pick up Lee Evans in the Gekko league. However, TamuScarecrow wanted him as well.

When Tamu went to put in his waiver pickup request HE PUT IN A HIGHER BID THAN I DID!

To make matters worse, Tamu did not even start evens. I know this kind of move is not forbidden explicitly in the rules, but shouldn't priority be given to teams that want to start a given player even if they don't bid as much?

I feel like he gave me a chop block to the groin.

Is there anything we can do to prevent people from outbidding other teams on free agents, when the lower bidding teams REALLY want the player and the higher bidding team only KIND OF wants the player?

gekko...

it was only funny to tenth grader mentality people who get a kick out of people making up a point or lying to further an argument...

because anyone being honest and not lying knows that the above situation that was sarcastically and dramatically exaggerated is not at all related to the circumstances he was trying to mock...

IC, I know you were just having fun with someone, but the reason I picked up Lee Evans was because of the problems I have had the last 5 weeks with Roy Williams. Nothing intentional here. If anything, it proves how stupid I was to draft him, drop him, and then have to spend a nice chunk of change to get him back.

Come on renman, do you see the humor? I commented on an issue and was in the minority. So then everyone jumped down my throat and now Icojones is mocking me. This is Fantasy Football message boards, so any and all opinions that are not a majority are and should be belittled, discounted and made fun of. Personal attacks are also allowed and encouraged. Get with the program!!! It's fricken hillarious!
