All right, it's a spur of the moment deal, but hey you're all fantasy football players so you're already masters at the art of adjusting on the fly, right? So step up and let's have a little chat. We can cover anything you'd like from the NFFC to fantasy football in general to wondering whether Quincy Carter and Ricky Williams share the same dealer. :D Let's have some fun and chat for awhile this afternoon.

Who would you take with the #9 pick if Priest,LT,Deuce,Portis,J. Lewis,Alexander,Green, & James were taken?

1) Do you think Team Gekko will win the $200,000?
2) Should Team Gekko publish their team or teams after the draft?

Probably Fred Taylor although in our league with 1 point/reception Moss is going to be very difficult to ignore. I think it comes down to how you feel about taking a solid RB over a stud WR. I'm a RB guy so I'd probably lean toward Taylor even though I have some concerns about his TD upside and whether Toefield will replace him on some third downs. But I would not question someone taking Moss there.

I think you'll have as good a chance as every one of our participants.

2) Should Team Gekko publish their team or teams after the draft? That's up to you, Gordon. If it were me and someone asked I would let people know my team and why I took certain players at certain spots and all that.

If you had #11, and Moss & Taylor were gone...who would you take?

I'd probably be deciding between a RB and WR again. This time Barlow and Harrison. I'm a big Barlow guy and the good thing about him is he should be very active in the passing game - so that makes him very valuable in this league. Of course, Harrison is a legit WR stud so he'll be a great pick in the NFFC. Given his receiving potential, though, I'd probably go with Barlow.

It's tough for me to swallow Barlow at #11 overall considering their putrid offense and the fact that Barlow hasn't proven he can be an every down back. I hope I'm not in that spot.

What do you think of D. Davis? I don't like all this talk about him losing carries to Tony Hollings. It sounds like they want to do RBBC all of a sudden.

The Hollings talk is certainly interesting and as a matter of fact I slightly downgraded Davis this week on our cheat sheets (www.fantasysportsmag.com) this week because of it. The Texans did draft Hollings last year with the hope he'd be their RB of the future. Davis emerged and threw a monkey wrench in that plan, but now Hollings is healthy and the Texans want to see what he can do. I still think Davis will be the starter and his receiving ability will keep him on the field, but it's going to be very interesting to see how much action Hollings gets.

I think Barlow's supporting cast situation is highly over-rated. Sure it'd be great if he was on a better team, but other RBs have done well with suspect passing games. Corey Dillon in 2000 and 2001, for example, and Stephen Davis in 2001. And of course there was Jamal Lewis and Tomlinson last season. Barlow has big-time talent in my opinion; what I want to see from him is avoiding the minor injuries that have dogged him in his career. But the fact he's worked out very hard this off-season should help and is certainly a positive sign for Barlow's potential this season in my opinion.

But the 49ers also lost their left tackle and right guard. Their line is not very good.
