2008 NFFC/NBC Prep

At this point I'm not sure what NFFC/NBC leagues I'll be doing, but one thing is certain...I'll be doing less prep this year.

My question to the diehards here, how many NFFC/NBC leagues are you doing in 08 and are you putting in more or less prep than in 2007?

I'LL BE THE FIRST TO ANSWER THIS G.G. BETWEEN 5 TO 10 LEAGUES AND DEFINITELY LESS PREP.

AS GREAT FANTASY FOOTBALL MINDS THAT WE ALL HAVE THE SAME FORMULA DOES NOT WIN YOU LEAGUES FROM SEASON TO SEASON.

Now that I'm involved in the NFBC main event, I know I won't be doing as much prep work as last year for football.

With the addition of the NBC main event, I'll play in fewer leagues this year for sure. I'm not sure on the number of leagues but I'll put it around 10.

Part of my less prep will be with kickers and defenses. You can always pick up a good one at the end of the draft or via free agency

Cutting back to a maximum of four (4) leagues although I'm not 100% certain of which ones at this point.

I'd like to think I'm going to put in even more prep time this year. That's the plan...we'll see what reality allows for as working 50-60 hours a week makes things a bit challenging.

I've already locked in what I'll be taking with me (paperwork) into the draft rooms...definitely streamlining the information this year...the fewer pieces of information the better.

Gekko, just out of curiosity, why would you plan on doing less prep work this far out. When all is said and done a busy schedule may not allow for as much time as you would like, but I'm trying to understand why you would automatically plan for this. My guess is the focus on baseball is contributing to this...which makes 100% sense since you're in the mix for a nice finish this year.

I really like the DC format. Hopefully a couple of them.
