Here's who contacted me about playing for sure:

Walla Walla
JB
Mr. Bill
Jared Chasteen (with Bill)
Ronald Rogers and his partner
Scott Billings and his friends
Dyv
Gordon Gekko
John Zaleski

I know there's a few more that I forgot to write down. There is another option with a $179 buy-in, so let me know what you guys think. I'm here to serve and to watch with beer in hand.

I'd perfer to keep it just with NFFC guys, even if we only have a table or two. But, I'm open to either. I'd like to have lower blind levels, as opposed the very aggressive ones typically at casino tournamants.

Knowing the guys we have coming to Vegas, I think you will have 15-25 guys who will play on Saturday afternoon/night. Dyv, you need to get Meat Loaf's suite that you had in March and get this done. You'd be a hero to a bunch of good guys. Where you staying out there anyway?

Should have news in the next day or two, hang tough everyone ;)

Question: If we had 100% payout, would anyone playing in this 'friendly' game mind if we deal ourselves or is it important to have a dealer for the 'fun' of the event?

I could care less either way - don't mind paying for a dealer.

Thoughts?

I'm at Mandalay ;)

At this point it looks like it's washing out. We can join a live poker room anywhere in Vegas, but better would be to gather after the main event draft in Vegas and see if anyone with a big room wants to host a table of 10 or something.

I spent 3 hours on Monday calling every casino with an advertised poker room in Vegas. None can set aside space on Saturday evening.

If anyone has a place to play, Gordon and I have things pretty well hammered out besides... we just need 1-2 tables and chairs.

Anyone renting a house in Vegas that weekend or anything?

You have a bunch of tables and a big room to use after the draft on Saturday. If I remember right Greg said the room is rented for the whole day.
So if Greg and the rest sorta left and someone broke out some chips and cards your set.
