Major blow to the Packers' offense which looked shaky without him against the Eagles. Brandon Jackson has yet to prove he's anything more than a below-average RB. If I thought it was in Ted Thompson's nature I'd predict he'd make a move for someone like Marshawn Lynch. But Thompson is a passive GM so my guess is they go with Jackson and Kuhn and pick someone up as a free agent.

I just posted on Twitter that Willis McGahee is someone else I believe the Packers should consider. However, Ted Thompson is not prone to making big moves so if he traded for McGahee or Lynch I'd be very surprised.

I doubt the Cowboys trade Choice. They like him a lot. I also doubt they trade any of their RBs to the Packers considering both teams have Super Bowl aspirations.

One thing is clear to me. If B.Jackson is the guy in Pack land Pack will finish no better than 9-7. So a trade will be made and will be made soon.

I can't think of a single reason why Jerry Jones would help another Super Bowl contender address what is now looming as a gigantic area of concern. That makes no sense. What I would like to see is Thompson pursue McGahee or Lynch since both (especially Lynch) could be available and come at a very affordable price (again, especially Lynch). I'm sure Julius Jones is available but he offers nothing for the Packers. Sadly, I could see Thompson working out a deal with his friend John Schneider, who is Seattle's new GM, and trade for Jones.

One other thing to add with regard to Marshawn Lynch - the Packers were very high on Lynch in the 2007 draft and wanted to get him but Buffalo drafted him ahead of their pick. Now Lynch has a lost a lot since then but that is part of the equation.

Lynch=Problem.
McGahee=Maybe
J.Jones=Might be the ticket.
We shall see.
