Greg & Tom. I just wanted to let you guys know that the Elias Sports Bureau (official stats of the NFL) changed the scoring (statistics) on that Donavan McNabb - Reggie Brown - Correll Buckhalter play.
It has now been ruled a 55 yard pass play McNabb to Buckhalter as they ruled Brown never had possession. Obviously, McNabb's stats improve and Brown is credited with less yards and one less reception.
I'm not sure what your policy is in making changes, if any, or what you use for your official stats but I at least wanted to alert you to the change. Thanks.

This will also now count as a reception, yardage, and touchdown for Westbrook which it is not currently doing in the stats. I like it.

Put it this way...the way the NFL has been so anal this season of not giving a catch to players that CLEARLY HAD possession...had this ball not been intercepted or caught by another player, and hit the ground...it would have been ruled an incompletion.
He kept the ball alive.

I say..."touchdown pass"
Sorry Rick...I wish it were Westy for you, but I could use the extra points from McNabb, whoever was on the other end of it.
I'm sure Stats will make the proper changes in this league, but can you imagine the work that the CBS/Yahoo type leagues have to deal with by changing ALL of those scores and finals of close game outcomes. Not to mention the standings nightmare...
...OUCH!
