Main Event Draft Slots Will Be Announced Saturday, Aug. 27th At 1 PM ET

Wow, it's hard to believe but two weeks from today at just about this time we'll be hosting the NFFC Classic Main Event drafts at the Bellagio Las Vegas, Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Manhattan, Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Chicago and Online with $100,000 on the line. WOW. We're two weeks, 14 days, 336 hours, 20,160 minutes and just 1,209,600 seconds away from DRAFT DAY!!!

Who's psyched now?!!!

With each second passing by, I better get the schedule in front of you and let you know when you'll have your draft spots so that you can start preparing for those all important positions. I just posted the KDS deadline on a separate thread and will basically reverse the order of importance here and announce the Draft Slot Announcement dates here. I'll update the header as we head towards the first weekend and then the second weekend because we'll have a few Draft Slot Announcement dates now. But for the big one on the first weekend, that's coming up.

Heck, a week from now you'll be getting your draft slots for those Main Events. That's only 7 days, 168 hours and 10,080 minutes away!!

DRAFT SLOT ANNOUNCEMENT NEXT SATURDAY EVERYONE!!! Should be fun.

Okay, here's the dates for each of the Main Event draft slot announcements. We'll finalize times for each of these as we get closer to each date so that everyone can be prepared and on the Message Boards for all to see. All draft slots will first be posted on the message boards, then sent out via email to all NFFC members and then updated on your team pages. This will be fun and hopefully you can follow the announcements along with us.

Now let's hope this old, antiquated, no service left UBB board can hold up with the traffic. New message boards are coming next season, but hopefully these can hold up a little longer. We need them for one more season.

Anyway, here's the deadlines for the Main Event Draft Slot Announcements. Set your KDS preferences and may all your preferences come true:

Classic and Primetime Main Events:

Wednesday, Aug. 31st Classic and Primetime:
Draft Slots will be announced Wednesday, Aug. 24th
KDS deadline is Tuesday, Aug. 23rd at 9 am ET

Thursday, Sept. 1st Classic and Primetime:
Draft Slots will be announced Thursday, Aug. 25th
KDS deadline is Wednesday, Aug. 24th at 9 am ET

Saturday, Sept. 3rd Classic and Primetime:
Draft Slots will be announced on Saturday, Aug. 27th at 1 pm ET
KDS deadline is Thursday, Aug. 25th at 1 pm ET

Tuesday, Sept. 6th Classic:
Draft Slots will be announced on Tuesday, Aug. 30th
KDS deadline is Monday, Aug. 29th at 9 am ET

Wednesday, Sept. 7th Classic:
Draft Slots will be announced on Wednesday, Aug. 31st
KDS deadline is Tuesday, Aug. 30th at 9 am ET

Thurday, Sept. 8th Classic:
Draft Slots will be announced on Wednesday, Aug. 31st
KDS deadline is Tuesday, Aug. 30th at 9 am ET

Friday, Sept. 9th Primetime:
Draft Slots will be announced on Friday, Sept. 2nd AM
KDS deadline is Wednesday, Aug. 31st

Saturday, Sept. 10th Primetime:
Draft Slots will be announced on Saturday, Sept. 3rd AM
KDS deadline is Thursday, Sept. 1st

Just as an FYI: The signup deadline for the first weekend Main Events is this Friday, Aug. 26th. We need to form perfect 14-team leagues to pick the draft spots and announce them on Saturday morning, so please get locked in and signed up by Friday if not earlier. We do have to run credit cards or get check payments before announcing the draft picks, so I understand if you need to wait as long as possible to join the NFFC but waiting too long isn't good either.

What day and time are the live DC's and auctions (not as important) that are scheduled for FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 2ND due?

Thanks! Again, let's keep the one week window and time frame like we have for the Mains. In the case of the Chicago DC, we can say KDS deadline is due Thursday at 1 pm ET and we'll announce those Friday morning. Same with the other cities if they are filled. Thanks.

It's now 1 pm ET on Saturday, which actually corresponds to the minute an hour from the first Classic live drafts. That works better anyways. So 1 pm ET on Saturday for the Draft Slot Announcements. Okay, tomorrow is our first Main Event Draft Spot Announcement!!! We have one Classic and one Primetime set for Wednesday, Aug. 31st and those two leagues and their owners will see draft spots tomorrow. We'll finalize everything in the morning and announce these late afternoon. Stay tuned everyone and best of luck.

The Thursday, Sept. 1st Classic Leagues and Primetime League will then receive their draft spots in the same fashion on Thursday morning of this week. Then the Saturday, Sept. 3rd Main Events will receive their draft spots on Saturday at 1 pm ET of this week.

As I posted in an earlier thread, we are still on pace to announce most Main Event draft spots tomorrow and will stay on schedule for an announcement at 1 pm ET. However, we do have a lot of people still on the fence about location and event for that first weekend and thus it's possible that we will need a little time to fully fill each Classic and Primetime. We will announce all of those leagues that are completely full and if we need a few more hours or even until Sunday to get the rest right, we'll do it. In this crazy year of the NFL lockout, the WCOFF and Hurricane Irene, we might just need a little more time and hopefully folks understand.

Thanks all and we'll get you mocking for your draft spots shortly. Hopefully we can do that for the Draft Champions Leagues too. Thanks.

Just a heads up: I will post the Nomination Orders for Las Vegas Auction League and New York Auction League this morning. I'll pick the Chicago Draft Champions League this morning too and hopefully the LV Auction League. So we're getting some of these rolled out. Stay tuned and thanks all.

I think we can get the Chicago and Las Vegas Draft Champions Leagues' draft orders announced tomorrow along with the Main Events. We are just finalizing those now and we just added Bill & Don Ezzell to both, so we should be almost there now. Just give us the rest of the day to finish payments, have KDS set for everyone and then we'll be good to go. The New York and LV 4 pm Draft Champions League are not going to go off as planned this year, so we'll have two 14-team DCs and try to fill that Friday, Sept. 9th $1,000 12-Team DC. Thanks all.
