We're glad to announce a $1 million bonus for anyone who can win both NBC Sports NFFC main events this year and it looks like there are plenty of folks who think they can accomplish that feat. All you have to do is beat 391 other teams in the NFFC Classic main event and 395 other teams in the NBC Sports NFFC Primetime event and the $1 million bonus is yours!!

We'll also give free entries to both main events in 2009 to the highest scoring team from both main events through Week 16 and will award one free main event entry to anyone who can win league titles in both main events. So there's a lot for these folks to compete in.

I think it's great that so many of our die-hard players are signing up for both main events and it's time to list those who are going to be competing in the ultimate fantasy football doubleheader: Two Chances In The Same Day To Win $100,000!!

Add Sackofpotatoes to the list doing both. Welcome to the ultimate fantasy football day of the season, Kenny.

I have to believe that for a 13-year-old sports nut like the CHIP, drafting two fantasy football teams in the same day with the dear ol' dad would be nirvana. :D I wish I could do the same thing with my boy. What a day that is going to be for all involved. I'm loving it already.

Glad to see we already have 35 teams doing both main events on Saturday, Aug. 30th. We're still working on the bonus plan for anyone who can win both, so stay tuned. Should be a wild, wild time.

That is a great list so far.

I would be willing to add in another $250 for a side pot for those who are playing in both. Total points 16 weeks, combined.

Maybe payout one spot per 10 entries. Right now we would pay out four spots with the extra cash. (40%-$3500 30%-$2625 20%-$1700 10%-$875 / $250 x 35 = $8750 = 3500 + 2625 + 1700 + 875)

Just thinking out loud here.

Lets combine these two events for an overall Champion with a guaranteed prize.

We all haven't won $100,000 you know! ;)

I'm all for it Rob! :D

It works well even with $50 per player. You would just have fewer payouts as the pool would be quite a bit smaller.

If I was going to do this I would also like to see high score combined for the two events paid out weekly. That could be cool to track for future reference as well.

I say tie these two mothers together!

I say tie these two mothers together! One thing I will say is that NBC agrees with you Rob that we're not doing a good enough job of tying these two events together, even with the names. They have combed the web site today and provided 10 changes for us to make, even analyzing the two names of the events and finding a way to combine them in a better way. I agree with a lot of the points and we're working through all of this.

Keep the ideas coming as I wish this wasn't a work in progress, but it is. We're getting closer and you'll see that shortly.
