#13 pick? Lucky #13...

Kessenich - if I don't win this is clearly your fault.... my odds have already fallen due to your 'help'... you owe me a sleeper via private email now

poor JSF - you never want to have the endpick with a vindictive bastard before you... lol... take my guys just ONCE and you're going to cry the rest of the draft! lol

Can we do this draft earlier? I'm ready...

Dave

As a Yahoo experienced Commish I've set up the site and will be happy to help any of you guys that haven't used Yahoo before. In the following post I'll give you a description of the draft room.

Gordon, what are the odds on the "field" so I know where to put my money? Morning line, Dyv at 3-1, but with him getting #13, he just fell to 9-2. Not sure about the others yet. I'll take a look in the next couple of days. [/QUOTE]Gekko -

If you're 2:1 and Dyv is 3:1, I know I'm gonna want to make a nice sized bet on whatever odds you lay on the Zefurs/KJDuke with my #6 pick at the Gekko casino.

The draft room is Java. Be sure to use the "test your system" link on the home page to make sure your browser is up to speed.

The draft time is 90 seconds. There is a timer in the upper left corner of the screen. The page has tabs for "all players" as well as by position. You can choose to display the lists alphabetically, using the default rankings, or using your rankings. I highly recommend you take the time to take advantage of the easy to use ranking capability to make your own list. You can then display the remaining players in your order under the overall and position tabs. This will make choosing your next pick very easy.

There is yet another list available. You can create a queue and then draft from your queue. This is especially useful towards the end of the draft when you can put your "sleepers" in your private queue so you don't forget anybody. Selecting a player is as simple as highlighting the player and clicking on either "queue" to add to your queue or "draft" when it is your turn.

The default view list is your team but you can look at anybody else's team also by clicking on that team. There is a live chat box. The last selection is displayed in the chat box.

The draft will move very fast as most players are drafting from their lists and will make their decisions quickly. Be prepared. If the timer expires you will be given (in order of priority) your next queued player, the next player on your pre-edit list, the next player on Yahoo's ranking. Trust me, you will not like Yahoo's choice so create a list.

Feel free to post any questions.

E-mail is out to all league members.

Don Thompson: I received a message that my e-mail was undeliverable to your friend Joe Fitzpatrick. Can you forward him the info. Let me know if anyone doesn't get the e-mail by morning. Damn Yahoo!!
