WOW!! WOW!!! WOW!!!!

We're glad to already be over the 500 mark for the number of teams signed up for the NFFC Online Championship. We finished with 512 teams last year, so this is a great success so far. We have a goal of 600 teams for this year, so we have less than 100 GUARANTEED SPOTS LEFT in the NFFC Online Championship.

Grab a spot soon if you want to compete in this year's Online Championship. And remember that if you're already in the NFFC Classic League, please add at least one NFFC Online Championship team. There is an additional $75,000 cash bonus if you win both overall titles and there's a Combined Standings prize for the Classic and Online Championship with first place winning $5,000. We want to see who is the best owners in the 14-team and 12-team formats and this is a great way of doing it.

Congrats to all for helping us grow the NFFC Online Championship this year. But we're not done yet. We have 7 more leagues to fill. Thanks all.

It looks like our drafters are getting used to the draft board and the draft site as last night's three leagues went smoothly and quickly. One Online Championship league was finished in 1 hour and 45 minutes. That's a new NFFC record!! :D No doubt the big draft board is making the difference there and making it VERY EASY for folks to follow the drafts. Great job all and thanks for making this work so well. Also, thanks to everyone for being on time and ready to draft.

Now, we have four spots left in Thursday's Online Championship if someone wants to compete this week. Sign up now and let's get it done.

And thanks again all. LESS THAN 100 GUARANTEED SPOTS LEFT!!! Nice.

I'm sure everyone already knows but for those who may not, the $50,000 prize is obviously guaranteed for the Online Championship winner. And if we do go above 600 teams we will adjust the prize payouts. We did that each of the past two years for the NFBC's Online Championship and last year for the NFFC's Online Championship.

Again, I'm sure this was already obvious to most people here but just in case people were wondering I wanted to make that clear. Good luck all.

We now have fewer than 65 GUARANTEED spots left for the Online Championship. Will we reach our 600-team goal this week? Stay tuned. :D

Signups for the 2nd annual NFFC Online Championship have been through the roof this week and we now have more than 570 teams for this contest. We are shooting for 600 teams, so obviously we'll need to go above that to fill out these late August and early September leagues. Take a look at the openings we still have because we're going to have to close out some of these dates once they are full. We have a maximum limit of 720 teams so that you know your odds of winning the overall, so don't delay. We definitely are running out of time.

Thanks all and good luck in your upcoming drafts. This is going to be a GREAT SEASON.

We now have fewer than 20 GUARANTEED spots left for the Online Championship. I think it's say we'll be reaching our goal of 600 teams very soon. As Greg said, we won't go beyond 720 teams and that number is fast approaching. So if you want to take part in the fun this year, you better not wait too long. The demand for this event continues to be intense and spots won't last long.

We're capping the event at 720 teams as stated in our rules. If the signup pace continues at the rate it's been for the past month or so we're going to hit that number real soon. So if folks want to dive in, they better not way too long.

At some point too big becomes too good for the game operators who make more money and not winnable for the players. We will not go above 60 leagues, that's for sure.

Right now if we fill all of the dates and times that we have open we would finish at 672 teams. We have had great success filling every draft date so far and that's the plan for these last available leagues. We will be flexible and add a few leagues on Sept. 6, 7, 8 if demand warrants it because we know people get amped up to draft another team after the live drafts are complete. And with our Combined Standings prize and the $75,000 cash bonus, folks always feel good after drafting their Classic team and want to add one more online team!! :D

So it's possible we will get above 672, but at least here you know how many leagues we'll have and what your odds of winning are. Grab a spot if you still want to get in because these are really going fast. And then enjoy the drafts and the competition for the $50,000 grand prize.

And once we go over 600 teams we will announce the increase in the overall prize pool. The grand prize will likely remain at $50,000, but we'll beef up the other overall prizes. The league prizes are already solid where they are, so look for 2nd overall on down to get the extra payback. Good luck all and enjoy.

We have reached our goal of 600 teams for the Online Championship and are now going beyond. It's really amazing to see the growth this event has had. We knew it was the right format and price point after last year's success but to have topped the 2009 number and reached 600 teams with THREE WEEKS of signups still to come is incredible.

Thanks to all of you who have signed up for making this event a success for the second consecutive year.

OK, as Greg and I have said we'll continue taking signups until we reach 720. Yeah I said "until" :D and then we'll shut it down. We'll adjust the prizes accordingly as Greg stated earlier. The signups continue to pour in so if you want to dive in with your first team or take more now's the time to register because spots won't last long.

Thanks again everyone.
