To date I have never received one. Figure it is AOL related. Can you try and shoot me a copy to [email protected]?

Thanks
Derek

Brad, send me your e-mail address please at [email protected]. If you're an AOL subscriber, we're having major issues sending to them (our fault internally, not AOL's). So a second e-mail address would be very helpful. If not, we can work out something. Thanks.

AOL thinks they are the internet. They also think everyone is incredibly stupid.

What I have found in my service, is that they have taken it upon themselves to create "spam folders" without telling their customers they have them.

I just went though this recently in our NBA and NFL league college drafts done via league e-mail.

About 25% of my AOL customers swore up and down they had no box like that. EVERYONE of them eventually found it, and then "unchecked" "@ultimatefs.com" e-mails, and they now show up fine.

I'll bet anything that this is the problem you are having. Any e-mail that is sent to more than one person goes into the AOL spam folder.

And IMO, anyone using AOL is getting ripped off big time. You call them on this, and they will deny it until cows fly. I had over 50 customers find this spam folder w/o prior knowledge of it.

True, but not the whole story.

AOL blocks mail from certain ISPs on mass. Those mailings don't even get as far as the "spam folder". If the newletter uses an ISP on the black list, the only alternative for the end user is to open an email on a service such as Yahoo.

UFS, I'm an AOL subscriber and I've had no problems with the service. I do have a spam folder, but our newsletters don't get placed in there. We simply can't send anything to our AOL users. It's a long, complicated situation and I won't bore you with the details other than to say it's a source of major consternation among those of us who put these newsletters together.
