Welcome Reception Speakers

We're glad to announce that Dan Jiggetts, the Chicago Bears offensive lineman from 1976-82, has agreed to be our featured guest speaker at the Chicago NFFC Welcome Reception on Saturday, Sept. 4th. Dan's appearance is being sponsored by Best Buy and he will appear at 10 a.m. and take questions until 11:00 or so.
I'm glad to welcome Dan to our group as he spoke last year at our Fantasy Sports Trade Conference last year and he was extremely knowledgeable about fantasy football, about the NFL and the growth of the sport over the last 25 years. Dan has been a radio host in Chicago for the last two decades and he was a CBS game announcer for several years. He was a leading member of the NFL Players Association during his playing days and has some good stories about the growth of the union.
Jiggetts is a Harvard graduate who is a very eloquent and thoughtful speaker. He was a close friend of Walter Payton who has good stories to tell about Sweetness. He also understands fantasy football and last year told us that it's an injustice not to have a scoring system for offensive linemen! He thought points for team rushing yardage or lack of sacks made sense and he made a pretty good case for it.
Anyway, this will be a fun kickoff to Draft Day and we thank Dan for taking the time out of his busy schedule to join us at the Oakbrook Marriott. Feel free to bring plenty of questions as Dan will enjoy the Q&A session.
We're still working on Las Vegas and New York, but should have those speakers soon. Thanks again to Best Buy for providing this kickoff event.
