Dennis Northcutt's fractious relationship with the Cleveland Browns that currently includes a grievance filed on his behalf by the NFL Players Association could be headed toward a solution that appeases not only the fourth-year receiver but the Denver Broncos, too.
A league source indicated Monday night that the teams have initiated trade talks regarding Northcutt, who led Cleveland last season with 62 catches for 729 yards and two touchdowns. The possibility of a Denver-Cleveland compromise was first reported by the Washington Post's online site.
