Satellite Tournament for entry into 2005 NFFC
Rules: Same as NFFC main event
Scoring: Same as NFFC main event
Location of draft & date: Either Vegas after main draft is over or via the Internet on Tuesday night following the NFFC draft. I'm open to either.
Teams: 14
# of Leagues: 1
Cost: $100/team (Greg can charge your credit card for this)
League Management Website: STATS, Inc. (We will be on the NFFC site)
Playoffs:
The Satellite Tournament will consist of 14 teams competing in a head-to-head format for the league championship. The team with the best won-loss record after Week 13 plus the next team with the highest point total (second highest point total if the team with the best won-loss record also has that) advance to the three-week playoffs. Teams will carry their average weekly score into the playoffs and then accumulate points to that total over the next three weeks of the season (Weeks 14, 15, 16) to determine the overall champion.
Prize:
League Champion = Free entry into 2005 NFFC ($1,250)
If you want to get in, send an e-mail to me at [email protected]. I've already got a few people in mind, Dyv, JB, Crow...
Much thanks to Greg for helping out with the details. Maybe this can get some press in next year's magazine?
