Will Stecker bring a 1000 bid like Gordon last week? Congrats to the McAllister owners who had the foresight to handcuff him.

What happened NNOY?
I believe he went round 18 pick 11 in our draft. The funny thing is, he was put on waivers last week. I'm betting he's gonna cost you 998 to get him. With S.Davis down and Martin on bye doesn't that leave you with ZERO RB's next week?

How about the other leagues? Anyone down for 1000?

They resigned Ki-Jana Carter and rumor has it they are looking to sign someone else. I don't think they believe little Stecker can be an every down back. Deuce was horrible in the 1st game and Stecker did little this week because they don't have that good of an o-line and they lost their starting fullback. It doesn't seem like Stecker has much upside but he might be worth a couple hundred to a team with RB problems.

I agree JB. Stecker,Carter or whoever might only be good for 70 total yards and a possible TD.

The question now isn't about value as much as it is survival. How many goose eggs can a team afford going into week 3?

Chances are, JB, if they are looking for another rb it will be Lamar Smith.

You will see two $5-10 FB's that catch passes on my roster this week, no way I shoot the load on a player like Stecker.

That's a smart move NNOY (except you're probably bluffing..LOL)

It looks like the big winner will be the one who finishes with the healthiest team.

I can't believe I'm actually excited that Pittman only has 2 more weeks of NFL house arrest.
If only Garner can continue to be so unimpressive for Gruden. Go Charlie go!!!!!!!!!!!

Indy, from what I saw of Tampa Bay's offensive line last week (and I do mean 'offensive'), Pittman won't do any better this year than he did the last two years in Tampa Bay. Three td's in two years is certainly nothing to get excited about unless you're absolutely desperate for rb help.

Tamu
Dayne,Wheatley and Fargas are my only options now.
How desperate does that sound? We went Moss,Manning,Mason with the 1st 3. Had no idea Wheatley would be best available in the 4th.

We'll just use it as a learning curb for next year. Must have a RB in the 1st 2 rounds. We're only averaging 115pts a week but we're 2-0.

The schedule maker has been kind so far. We also catch Holmes and A.Green on bye weeks. Little chance to compete for the big prize but anything can happen with head to head.

I hate to focus on that. It sounds like something a 1st year player would get excited about.

How are you faring so far?

The ONLY good game he had that season was the Superbowl. That was great for the Bucs, but it sucked for fantasy owners.

I moved up the food chain this week from 108 to 52 with major points coming from E. James, Horn, and Roy Williams. Got beat by the weekly winner, Team Jefferson, but hanging at 1-1. Moved from 4th to 2nd in the Gekko Invitational and play the other 2-0 team for the top spot next week.

As for Pittman, I can understand your predicament and hope he can come back feeling like he has something to prove.
