810 WHB in Kansas City reports Priest Holmes has a strained MCL. I ran this past my Dr and he said expects Holmes to miss the next 3-4 weeks. He also showed me a picture...

Priest has a strained MCL. The extent of the strain will only be known after a period of days.
We'll go ahead and prepare as if he's not going to be there.also, don't know if you heard, but there was a nasty rumor going around for a few weeks. something about opponents purposely hitting holmes on his knee every time they tackled him. hoping he got hurt…

At least he decided to wait until I played before he got hurt, juice 40+ points against me. Then again, when i played agaist Green this past week, KC decided to throw the ball. Those 2 guys combined for 80+ points against me.

I wish they would go for Deuce's knees. I am willing to insert stecker back in there....
ofcourse, next year, deuce will be top 3 RB in points after he comes off my roster this year.

See this one yet?

“This is not the kind of injury where I can grit my teeth and play through it,” Holmes says. “This is the kind of injury that needs some rest.”
He pauses ominously: “And if after I rest, the knee still doesn't feel right, then it's something where we would have to explore surgery.”

You lucky dog, Gordon. Figures the week I play you, Holmes sits out and you have Blaylock to take Droughns place. Problem is, I only lose to last place teams and since I'm in last place and you're not, that doesn't bode well for you.

So if Holmes does sit and misses more than one game I guess we'll see how valuable that No. 1 draft position really is, won't we?

No. 1 or No. 2, depending on what league you were in.
