I'm visiting family for the Holiday and am using their 56K modem (actually connects at 24K) to review the bids from this afternoon. It took me a while, but I finally saw them all. J.Jones still available in a Chicago league???? Please tell me someone dropped him last week.

If not...I guess we have some sleepy owners there. First a team (from Chicago) drafts Buckhalter. Now J.Jones is picked up a week late. Mindblowing. Time to pack my bags and head to chicago for next year's draft. seems like there are some "lesser" owners there. notice i said SOME. thanks.

You are correct, he was cut recently. We had a chance to pick him up for a buck last week. We made the wrong choice and opted to bid on Fisher then tag a conditional on JJ. I thought Fisher had a better chance for consistant playing time, plus I thought JJ would be splitting time with 2 others at best. I only had one available roster spot to play with. I never thought Parsells would hand it over so soon. Woulda/shoulda/coulda I guess. Got outbid this week.

I can't speak for the other owners as to why no one else bid on him last week. This has been a real competitive league. The Buckhalter stuff occured in one of the other leagues.

If you do show up in Chicago let me know. I'm not a drinker but I can always put down a good steak!
