Speaking of apologies, here's a few fantasy owners should receive from the following coaches and players:

Mike Tice: Onterrio Smith runs to the 1-inch line so what does Tice do on the next play? Reward his RB who just dragged a number of defenders to the 1-inch line? Nah. QB sneak by Culpepper.

Eric Parker: Stopped at the 1 instead of a 56-yard TD.

Peerless Price: Stopped at the 1 instead of a 26-yard TD.

The Bears and Cowboys: Just for being the Bears and Cowboys (except for Julius Jones :D ).

Champ Bailey: For getting b***h-slapped up and down the field by Jerry Porter last night.

Come on, Tom. You know the offense has the advantage on a bad surface. And besides, it looked to me like John Lynch needed to be drug tested as he was lost most of the night. On the first TD, Lynch got sucked into a pump fake and left Champ without inside coverage. The second TD was just a beautiful throw and the third TD was Lynch's fault again not covering centerfield in the end zone. Why do you think Tampa Bay dumped him? He needs to retire.

Sorry Rick, but Bailey was absolutely brutal. Porter just ran right by him all night long and while I reserve final judgement until I hear what the Broncos' coaches have to say, Bailey just let Porter walk into the middle of the end zone for the game-winning TD.

Here's something I find quite humorous: The Redskins trade for Portis and their offense gets worse; the Broncos trade for Bailey and their defense gets worse.

Go figure.

LOL, Tom. Hate to say it but you hit the nail on the head there. As for Bailey, it's hard to say whether it's him or the scheme but Price lit him up a few weeks ago on a dry track so I'm going to agree with you to a point. It's funny though how he shut Porter down for 29 minutes and blew up the last 31. Weather and footing had to be the issue.

I'd be more inclined to believe it was the weather if Chad Johnson hadn't lit Bailey up in that Monday night game a few weeks ago. I just think the guy's over-rated. Good player? Yes. "Shutdown Corner?" Hell no. Not even close.

So the big question is, who is more overrated -- Bailey or Portis?

Raise your hand if you thought that deal would turn out that way.

I think Bailey is more over-rated. Portis is a victim of a poor team and (in my opinion) a head coach who has seen the game pass him by.
