**ALERT Priest done for year!
Priest Holmes posted an apology to fantasy football players on his website that says he's out for the rest of the season.
Here's his message: "Hey, everyone! I hope your 2004 season went a little better than mine. If you had me on your team, I am sorry to have disappointed you with the news of my knee injury and not being able to finish out the season. I hope with my absence you were still able to rack up the points."

The thing that sucks is the Chiefs are trying to get Larry Johnson's $'s up by playing him more.
I have Blaylock in the "big league", and if he were to get ALL the carries, that would be HUGE in the playoffs!

You may just ride your F/A RB's to the 100K.
Nice job!
By the way - the retraction is just league protocol. He's not officially listed as "done" on the injury report.

Vermeil expects Holmes to return, 12/3
A cryptic message on the official web site of Kansas City RB Priest Holmes indicating he would miss the remainder of the season was edited on Thursday afternoon. The line “...and not being able to finish out the season” was removed from the original message. Holmes also indicated that he was not the person who posted the original message. According to head coach Dick Vermeil, the team expects Holmes to return at some point this season but no timetable has been suggested. Source: Kansas City Star.
