Unreal! Now the NFC (as crappy as it is) is a lot more WIDE OPEN again.

GO SAINTS!!!!

Maybe this is a conspiracy so Reid wouldn't have to wear the tights?

The 4 o'clock press conference said he would be out until the NFC Championship at best and maybe not be ready until the Super Bowl, assuming they make both of them. High ankle sprain and stress fracture. After what I saw last week, it doesn't look good. Bad for the McNabb-Owens owners, maybe great news for the Westbrook owners like GG. :D

Don't let the false optimism fool you. Terrell Owens will NOT be seen playing football until next season. The NFC being what it is, the Eagles probably will still get to the Super Bowl. Freddie Mitchell steps up and McNabb and Westbrook do their thing. Stretch your legs, Donovan.

Any chance they rest McNabb in week 16 ?? Interesting dynamics now...

I'm not (I wish I was coaching the eagles thoguh) but westbrook is fragile and McNabb is taking alot of tough hits lately. The eagles season hinges on these two guys

There's a fine line between "resting" starters and keeping players fresh and cohesive for the playoffs. Look at what happened to Denver a few years back when they rested the starters and got their butts whipped at home by Jacksonville. Plus, the Eagles need to see what they have for playoff life without T.O.

I wouldn't want to be in Andy Reid's shoes...nor to see him in tights.

On one hand, I think he needs to play the starters "full bore" the rest of the way to see how he they respond.

On the other hand, if Westbrook or McNabb were to get injured, they would be in A LOT of trouble. (Westbrook is actually much more important to them right now!)

Like Primo said "wouldn't want to be in Andy Reid's shoes!" (nor would I want to see him in tights! )
