First off, thanks to Rocky and all of the workers for a great weekend of drafting. Every year gets better. It was nice to meet Dabigu, BONGZIMO and make a few more friends in Chitown.

As always it was great seeing Billy..Rick..Big Mike..Daryl..Don..Joe..Scott...ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ sorry..did I forget a few? WTF..this isn't the academy awards or a Nascar victory lane speech. If I forgot to mention your name...tough sh*t LOL

The drafts were quirky as usual. P.Manning at 1:4 in one league and 2:6 in another. C.Palmer 2:1 in my league. T.O. seemed to fall into the 3rd round alot. I guess many owners have decided not to rest their fantasy fates in the hands of the talented but unpredictable Mr. Owens.

Where to draft Gates was a tough call this year as we found out from the 3 hole. We passed on the aforementioned Mr.Owens in favor of Gates at 3:3.

That could be the determining factor in our 2006 fate but I hate T.O. THAT much to take such a chance.

All in all a great weekend. Thanks to Greg/Tom and the whole gang for making the NFFC experience possible for us diehards. Good luck to all and let the games begin!!!!!!!!! :D

I too had a great time in Chicago with all of the boys! I agree it was great to see Rick make the draft, and he seemed to have a great time!

Rocky ran a GREAT event, and I got to meet a lot of new people GLY, Rob Benetti (never showed up at the pony track), Rick Tittsler, Paul Clein, Scott Stauffer, Gerard Sambola, etc.

The casino was a GREAT time with all the scenery (I think one is STILL thinking of Heidi! ), and I can't recall the last time I stayed at a casino for over 6 hours and ALL FOUR people walked out with more than they came in with! :D

Went to the Cubs game with Brian CLampitt and his brother RR. He was formally RC, but is now RR for ROAD RAGE! If you every want a comical experience AND/OR want to see your life flash before your eyes, you need to ride in a car stuck in traffic with RR.

Don't bring your kids though, as the language is rated XXX!

Great weekend guys, and in just 3 days, the rubber meets the road!

GAME ON BABY!!! GAME ON!!!! :D

The Casino was a blast. We taught Brian how to play craps. I have played a lot of craps and have seen a lot of dice go off the table and once or twice go under the next table ... but to Brian throw so hard that the dice consistantly go under the next table and come out the other side ... PRICELESS!

I was also funny to see Brian make his first point by hitting a guys shoulder so hard the dice bounced off and came back on the table ... I was looked at the pit boss with a does that even count look when he said ... "Nine". We just laughed and high fived and picked up our money. I have also never seen the other side of the table clear out when someone was throwing good dice. Hmmm ... wonder if it had something to do with wild dice consistantly hitting people at the other end? Brian ... if you could only throw the dice a little harder!

The track was fun ... never seen two guys with me hit a $500 winner before. I think Joe is the luckiest bastard in the world ... and Darryl knows way too much about betting the hourses ... Hmmmm.

It is never a good sign when you show up at Denny's at 4:00 in the morning. It is also a bad sign when the place is empty and the Hostess needs to search to find a clean table? It is even worse that we were too hungry to leave!

I also never had a strange girl ask me to not talk to her dice because she knew it was bad luck to have a tall loud guy talk to her dice when she was shooting ... LMAO. I was quiet while she quickly craped out, lost the table a bunch of money, then turned to me and said "guess I was wrong" and leave ... go figure!

too much fun! Need more sleep next year.

Spending time with all of my Chitown brethren was just what the doctor ordered. Much thanks to Rocky and gang for running a great show. Good to see Greg give him a little budget to work with.

Had a great time under the circumstances, but don't like any of my teams. Had one guy drafting 4 receivers with his first 4 picks in both the DC and the Main Event, same guy, so the team mix was screwed up from the start since I was behind him in both drafts. Nice guy, just hope he doesn't follow us to NY next year.

Main Event team:

QB's
Palmer
Warner
Young

RB's
Parker
T. Jones
McAllister
Haynes
Harrison

WR's
C. Johnson
Stallworth
Givens
Booker
Colston

TE's
Watson
Pope

K's
Elam
Tynes

Defense - Carolina

Had a great time at the OTB as Darrell and I were having fun picking winners and the rest of the troops soon caught on. Sorry I missed the $500 winner. Got to the apartment at 3 A.M. just in time to get 5 hours of sleep and head south. Good luck to all and see my fellow Chitowners for one more draft next week. :D

Illinois highway system sucks! Road signs are confusing at times...too damn many tolls where you have to get ALL the way over in the right lane at the last minute...and the traffic is bullsh*t. 6 miles in 45 minutes on I90 f**k that.

I got home at freakin midnight. 7 hours in the vehicle for a 3 1/2 hour trip.

The sad thing is I'd do it all over again to hang out with you blokes. BTW Billy...next time in Chicago...you're walking to the F*****n airport. :D

Chitown was a blast! Kudos to Rocky and the guys for another smooth event. Glad you were able to make it Rick.

The casino was a great experience! I thought you got "bonus" chips for injuring the most spectators within a 2 mile radius...and double kudos for Heidi showing up and I do mean double!

Mike...where is my damn milk shake?????

I am sure Billy never wants to get in another vehicle with RR again - the sad thing is he was on pretty good behavior...should have seen the ride home, you would have loved it.

60 hours and counting....let the games begin!!!!

Man that's the pot calling the kettle black. As soon as Brian started driving all the other motorists thought they were in a re-make of Jeepers Creepers as he was shoving the truck bumper down everyones throat until they either moved over or went into cardiac arrest. :D

BTW...a couple more shout outs to the boys in Chicago. It was nice to meet Patrick (GLY-very cool dude) Gererd (someone who actually talks more than me)LOL and Rob Benetti.

The Oakbrook Mariott is a first class place with great service and decent food.
