The Chiefs will go with Tyler Thigpen at QB in Week 3 against Atlanta.

It will be Thigpen's first NFL start and he's the Chiefs' third starting QB in as many games. Damon Huard has a head injury, but judging by Thigpen's Week 2 performance, a concussed Huard would be better. Downgrade Tony Gonzalez and Dwayne Bowe in what would've been a nice on-paper matchup. Also expect Larry Johnson to see constant eight- and nine-man fronts.

Tony Gonzalez will get 12+ targets this weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets 9-10 receptions for 50-60 yards. I wouldn't downgrade Gonzo ever. He's their best dumpoff option.

LJ might have a decent game or two, but for the most part he will be terrible.

He is really quite immature and does not possess any leadership skills whatsoever. He is not a team guy. He is basically a punk that is really only motivated when he has an axe to grind.

We will see a continued downward spiral of LJ and the Cheifs all year long. Yes, I do believe it gets worse, if that is possible.

Astute observation smaller MO. Being in the K.C. market does give one a different take on L.J. He may be talented, but his attitude/motivation is for s#it. I'd rather go clubbing with Ray Lewis in a stretch Hummer than hang out with LJ. Now with the Chefs in a downward spiral, he'll look to get out of town and his career will be toast.
