The end of Holt in St. Louis

Tory Holt, released by the Rams. Moves like these makes us feel like old-timers in fantasy football. I thought this guy would play out his career in St. Louis, but we're always reminded that it's a business first.

I hope Holt has some spark left in him, like Mason showed after leaving Tennessee. I truly hope I don't see another great WR playing sub-par in his final years of a new contract on a new team, because he's not physically able to do it anymore.

Bulger has to stay healthy, and the front line needs to give time.

I hope the 49ers sign him, them we'll have Holt and Bruce from the days of old, better than anything we have now.
Resigning Alex Smith is a ? mark all the way around, he's already proved he can't play.

Steven Jackson is a world class talent. However, if he doesn't have blockers and no passing game to take the pressure off, he will either get hurt (overuse) or be ineffective (for a first rounder anyhow).

I can still remember "the greatest show on turf" like it was yesterday! :D

Billy, A bad offense that may be throwing most of EVERY second half.

I say again, let the Avery "Fantasy Era" begin. A top 25 finish this year is not out of the question.

However, from what I know about him, he isn't much of a "possession guy".

What I am saying is that without Holt on the other side, I could see him ending up much like Lee Evans from last year. Explosive big play guy who will disappear in many games due to double teams, etc.

How he handles not having a quality WR on the other side will determine how well he does IMO.

Billy, Dane Looker may be back. You saying that Dane Looker isn't a quality receiver?
