Greg
I'm trying to switch my local league over to NFFC format for next year. By doing this I hope to gain a couple more entrants into the main event for 05 or 06. Could we set this up through Stats as a satelite league? If so, this might be a decent avenue to pursue with other local leagues to get the "FEEL" of the NFFC out to the general market. Also, let me know the cost to the league for the site.
Thank you
Jeff

It's not a bad idea Jeff, but I'm not sure how many satellite leagues I can do on the side. I may have an online option for you that I'm working on with STATS right now, so with any luck we might have an option for you. Stay tuned.
Your buddies should see how well you're doing and jump into the NFFC next year. If you can perform this well, it must be easy waters, right? I'm glad you're having so much fun this year and we'll get more from the Indy area next year, I'm sure. Good luck the rest of the way.

Easy waters - not this year. I did take the last 2 Super Bowls but my local team was horrid this year. I think I've gotten at least one team ready to commit to the main event next year. The mid season satelite league probably sealed the deal for Team Milligan. I just talked to Sean this morning and he's pumped about coming to Chicago next Sept.
That would be great if Stats could host our league site since they are familiar with the NFFC structure. If we could do this without burdening you with additional responsibilities it could turn into a good marketing tool. Cultivate one field while harvesting another so to speak.
Our league is split about 60/40 between serious and recreational owners. I don't know how that compares across the board. I still have to convince the owners to switch at the year end meeting. We are currently a 12 team auction league with pretty basic scoring, although we do score 6 for passing TD's as well.
Whether I finish first or 32nd it's been a fun season. I've enjoyed the livliness of the MB's with all the regulars. By the way - we finally figured out Gekkos true identity. I was really surprised to find out Howard Stern was a FF player. (Just kidding Gordon)
Seriously though, I'll be happy to endorse the game in any way I can to promote the NFFC.Preferrably in an interview and photo with the winning check.
Thanks for a great contest and if Favre throws 3 to Walker this week - a great season.

Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

I know you're busy with BB. Just checking in to see if Stats is interested in hosting a local league, cost, etc...

I have costs from STATS on hosting satellite leagues for 2005 and we can talk about this soon. Give me a call sometime at 715-445-4612, ext. 284 and we'll discuss further. I'll let you in on some of my plans for 2005 and then you'll see what I mean.
