This may be a lame question here ,But Manning against the Jags ,or Garcia against the Lions.

WELL I WOULDN'T CALL IT A LAME QUESTION. THIS IS WHERE LEAGUES ARE WON AND LOST. PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT MANNING IS A MUST START EVERY WEEK AND THEN WHEN HE HAS 200 YD 1TD OUTING AND THERE BACKUP HAS 250 AND 3TD AND LOSE BY THOSE POINTS THEY CAN FEEL REALLY BAD BECAUSE THEY KNEW BETTER. I WILL SAY THIS DO WHAT YOUR FIRST MIND TOLD YOU TO DO AND DON'T TURN BACK.

While Garcia clearly has the better matchup, I don't think you can ever bench Manning.

What did Manning do against the best D in the NFL on the big stage last season ? Detroit has had 2 weeks to fix "prep" for TB plus they're at home. If everyone KNOWS you have to pass (no TB running game whatsoever) it's not as easy.

If the Detroit defense were given 2 years to prepare could they really stop anybody?

Shawn, not a lame question at all. Manning usually has a tough time against the Jags defense. Actually, the Colts in general have problems when playing the Jags.

Obviously Manning has more upside, but at the end of the day I would imagine Garcia's FF points will be about the same as Mannings.

Well Billy, how bout you tell that to a guy in our league that drafts Manning in the first round and has routinely benched him in favor of Big Ben??
