Greg,
Did I see the WCOFF has some kind of league rule where an owner who gives up on his team can have the league itself or those running the event start the highest averaging players who may be on his bench in place of injured or bye week players this particular owner might leave in his/her starting lineup?
I thought I saw that rule somewhere. I could be wrong... Has the NFFC ever thought about something like this?
Route C makes some good points about league integrity. I admire a guy who says what he did about his one struggling team and how he has enough fantasy football integrity to try to waver wire the team out of the cellar to be competitive. Even if a team can't make it to a cash spot a real fantasy owner upholds his responsibility to the league to field a viable team against the teams on the remainder of his schedule.
If someone dead quits in week 9 it could really ruin the integrity and fairness of the league. Just wondering what your thoughts are.

I have to agree with all here regarding quitting on your team. The investment into these contests are sifnificant. If you are out of it then use the remainder of the season as a learning process for future seasons. As a rookie owner this year my goal is to learn as miuch as possible and hopefully compete with you guys. So far I have been fortunate on all counts but it is so anti fantasy sports to quit on a team and be an absentee owner regardless of the situation. Luck plays a big enough role in these contests and absentee owners should not be allowed back the next year (just my opinion Greg).
Anyway, just my 2 cents for what its worth

Hurtful feelings lead to a refund request.
