Weekly Prizes

Post by Shrink Attack » Fri Jul 04, 2008 11:14 am

Greg...two questions:

1) Are there going to be weekly prizes to the top scorers in both the Classic and the Prime Time Main Events? I know that coming up with 26 different prizes could be a challenge, but hopefully you wouldn't have to resort to an autographed Ryan Moats photo. ;) :D

BTW...I won the signed Aaron Rodgers helmet two seasons ago, so he better well damn start for the Packers this year. Funny, because I tried to get Billy to trade it for his signed Vick helmet, but he wouldn't do it.

2) Any rough idea when the KDS spots might be announced for both Main Events?

Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah, this is a tough one this year as the memorabilia companies are cutting back a bit. Upper Deck Authenticated has been a great Weekly Prizes sponsor in the NFFC during each of our first four years and we are talking with them again. We'll see if they jump in again for at least one contest, but right now I don't have an answer. We'll get something done.

FansEdge.com is a new company that is sponsoring our NFBC Weekly contest, giving folks an MLB replica jersey of their choice. They are interested in working with us for football as well. I'll know more shortly about our association with them. And then of course NBC has some contacts and some items we could work in as well.

This is always a work in progress and I know we'll have something. That's a guarantee. But I might not have this one nailed down until mid August. I'll let you know as soon as this is finalized as I have been working on this one a bit and we didn't nail the baseball one down until several weeks into that season.

Thanks, Greg.

Any idea about my second question regarding draft spots?

Any idea about my second question regarding draft spots? Probably similar to last year in the Aug. 20th range and obviously no later than Aug. 24th. The NFFC draft spots have a chance to be picked earlier than the NBC Primetime spots just because we're so far ahead with that contest, but we'll see.
