This question was asked in another thread, but has yet to be answered. (it could be because it's burried in the thread about ADP reports).
Why is the KDS deadline Thursday, if signups don't close until Sunday?...Many things could happen between Thursday and Sunday that could change peoples minds....ie: someone mention Steven Jackson signing, injuries from the preseason games over the weekend (it is the 3rd week of preseason, which is usually when the starters play deeper into the game, more of a chance for injuries.)

Well, at some point we need to get all of these from STATS and put them in an Excel document. We had hoped to pick the draft spots on Friday, which necessitated the Thursday deadline. But even if we pick the leagues on Sunday, we need to get all of these in one spot and give STATS enough time to compile all of these for us.
Something will always happen after whatever deadline we choose as we can't make the KDS deadline a few hours before we select the draft spots. So do your best by tomorrow and if you need to change your KDS before Sunday morning, e-mail me directly at [email protected] and I'll manually change it on our Excel document. Fair enough?

KDS Deadline?
Beyond generous of you Greg. With the news of Jackson signing can we all quick worrying about 2 days of worrying about a move in KDS? The odds of any move making that much of a difference is so slim it really wasn't worth bringing up. Let Greg and Tom worry about getting in applicants.

Not generous but fair as expected from the best in the business.
The dynamic duo never let us down.
Not worth bringing up? When you are potentially playing for a million dollars some rules should be set in stone and this is one of them.
If they need to get this stuff from Stats then set a date and stick with it. If a couple of fence sitters get stuck out in the cold and do not get to play, "ts" and maybe they will join sooner next year.

KDS Deadline?
Should I be concerned that the KDS spot I had as my least desirable spot heading into yesterday ended up as my first choice by the end of the day? Why do I make things so difficult?
