FAAB question
FAAB question
Greg and/or Tom,
The official rules say that FAAB will not start for ALL leagues (satellite and those this weekend) until after Week one.
I thought I recalled a post stating that all satellites would have FAAB BEFORE Week one. If this is true, is it Wednesday evening (due to the Thursday game), and if so, what time?
Thanks!!!

FAAB question
Funny, I was just looking for this info. Is it just me or are there WAAAAAY more topics than normal on the MB's this season??
Although, I did miss all of GG's +++ALERTS+++
Tamu and I were talking about this at the draft....he thought Wed. and I thought it was Fri. It's one or the other.
$500 for Favre in the Mag Auction sounds about right.

FAAB question
Tom said this Friday for the mag leagues (in an email I received today). They had said this Friday for all early drafts in another post.

FAAB question
The FAAB for all of the satellite leagues (including the magazine leagues) will be this Friday, Sept. 5th.
All of the main event leagues will have their first FAAB period on Friday Sept. 12th.

FAAB question
Tom, does this mean that even though a game has been played come Thursday that any FAAB pick-ups for satellite leagues may be played in week 1?

FAAB question
No, you will not get stats from any Giants or Redskins you would pick up on Friday. They will become official players on your roster in Week 2.

I called you today about the FA bidding when the Thursday games kick in. Do you plan on notifying everyone about this change? It would've been nice to know about the other.....
If bids were processed last week and everyone wasn't notified of the change, that's BS.

FAAB question
This is straight from the satellite rules:
9. Bidding Time Frame: The bidding process will be held each week after Week 1 and continues through the end of the NFFC regular season. Bids will be accepted on the league web site from Tuesday at 9 am ET until Friday at 4 p.m. ET in each of those weeks. If you are submitting by phone, you must submit your bids by 2:30 p.m. ET on Friday. Rosters will be updated by 5 p.m. ET Friday with the results of all successful bids.
The FAAB deadline will be moved to Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 4 p.m. EST to comply with the Thanksgiving Day games and to Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 4 p.m. EST to comply with the Week 13 Thursday games as well. There are no FAAB pickups in Weeks 14 through 16 during the NFFC Championship Round and NFFC Consolation Round. All winning FAAB bids on Nov. 19 and 26 are final at that time, even if a scoring change is made after that which would affect tied winning bids.
