FREE AGENT BIDDING

Is the cutoff time for "Draft Champions" free agents the same as the big game?

If I pay a lot for a free agent and he sucks this week, can I sell him back for what I paid for him?

Thanks again for answering as I'm sure many others had the same questions. Ok, I got this one.

A: Draft Champions FA cutoff is daily at 4am

B: You can re-bid for a player you really liked, but you must outbid the previous high for at least $7. These bids can be done up to 5 minutes before gametime on a given week and you can trump the other person's roster if they had the player in their starting lineup and cause them to forfeit the week with an invalid lineup.

C: You can sell back your free agents, but not necessarily or what you originally paid. If you sell back on Monday's, with a coupon, you can get buy 2 FA, get 1 Free vouchers sponsored by Indian-Giver.com. The price you receive is negotiated by the 'market maker' for your league. This person is responsible for putting out an ask and a bid price on every prospective free agent and is responsible for making a market on every player. Your best bet is to create a fake email and generate interest in the player you wish to turn in by sending the market maker an email inquiring about that player. Then having your real team offer him up at an 'in-demand' premium.

Thanks for your questions,

Dyv

Billy, read your post again... here it is, with a 'name' instead of a concept:

"If I want to pick up Bob and bid $300 on Bob and name Mary to be dropped, and then have six other players (conditional bids) behind Bob using the SAME dropped player (Mary), I will get one of those players (assuming one of my bids is the highest).

Dyv's note: We're good so far here - yes, if you win a bid you would get the player you won... (again, this IS what you asked... )

NOW, I want to bid on Mike with Betty to be dropped. My question is, "Once Bob is received and Mary is dropped, then all the other conditional bids dropping Mary would now be VOID, yes?

Dyv's note: This is where you asked for confirmation that you couldn't drop the same player (in this case Mary) more than once.

Therefore, it would then move onto my other players that have Betty to be dropped, yes?

Dyv's note: Yes, after one set of waivers was fully processed and you dropped a player already, you would be unable to drop that player again. Now, if your second set of players were processed and you got one of them, you couldn't drop THAT player a second or third time either.

Now, did you write it incorrectly or did I not understand?

Thanks Waz ;)

I understand that I can't drop a player more than once. Thank you for clarifying this for me, I don't know what I would have done without you!
