I think I'm happy that my insanely high bid was not the winner.

My bet is that there are a lot of people with Lamar Gordon right now that have never done a league with blind bidding free agency before.

$971 in LV #3. That's putting an awful lot of eggs in one basket.

The team that bid $1000 on Gordon in Chicago #3 has NO back-up K or TE, go figure.

751 in NYC # 2 for Gordon...I thought I had a shot well below that.

I hope this insanity continues next week after Gordon goes down with a torn ACL this week. I probably should have kept Sammy Morris. :D

I bid 972 in LV2 and lost to 991.

ICO, I have been in WCOFF both years. I had only one need the rest of the year, a 3rd starting RB. It was easily justifiable for me to try and get 1000 yds, 7td.

I can easily pickup a kicker for $1 when mine is on bye. I easily picked up SF D for $1 to cover Wk 5 bye. They play AZ.

I bid 911 and lost. Now I'm really, truly, verifiably, no doubt about it, screwed.

OK - So I bid $999 and got Gordon. In my WCOFF draft last week Gordon was drafted in the middle of the 4th round in many leagues. He did not fall further than a 5th round pick in any of the leagues I viewed. So, I shot my load on a starting RB in the NFL that I found on the waiver wire that I can use for the remainder of the season. I'll accept that and hope for the best. Last time I checked Greg wasn't giving us back any of the $1000 free agent bucks we end the season with. Feel free to bid $400 in week 11 on a kicker so you don't feel you left money on the table.

Best of luck to you guys starting Steven Davis this week.

Pete
