Prize payout question

Thats exactly what happened to my team finished 10-3 with another team, beat that team H2H, was 3rd overall in points, Lary Fitzgerald doesnt play lose by 11 points to the 2nd team with most points and the fourth team passes me on Sunday by 8 points, which results in me getting XXXX. I don't understand why the second team with most points automatically gets ranked with the most points while the other team who finished 100 points above him gets best record even though he ties with my team. Shouldn't it be The two teams that had the best record and High points go forward????

I like the satellite leagues here. You take the top 4 teams (2 record and 2 points) into a three week playoff. Its the best way to do it plus it that many more teams have something to play for through week 16
