Where is the best BBQ in Nashville? I will be there in 8 days for a stop over.

Memphis is a weekend trip the boss lady and I have planned for this summer too. I will have to hit you all up for suggestions.

LETS GO PENS I'm with you TOMDOG!

My parents still live there, it is less than a 6 hour drive, LOTS of good bars, and home to the best sports fans ANYWHERE!

I agree..... LETS GO PENS!!! :D
(remind me again who they are playing? )

P.S. Where are you at in Pittsburgh TOMDOG?
Hey BillyWaz,
Great to talk to a fellow burgher on the boards...
Where do your folks live?
I live in Avalon,7 miles north of Heinz Field, about 10 to Mellon Arena.
I see alot of support for Memphis on these boards, and that sounds nice, the whole state of Tennessee is beautiful.
But in Pittsburgh, folks can close the bars at 2am and go on over to the origonal Primanti brothers in the strip district, for a CHEESESTEAK sandwich, unlike any other, anywhere.
And BW,we are hoping for a Penguin,Stars final,as that would give home ice advantage to the Pens ;) ,whereas if its the wings,Detroit gets the home ice advantage.

Greg and Tom,

What City will be the next addition to the slate? Right now we're just looking to succeed with the four we have. We feel like we are offering our live events in the four proper regions of the country, but we'll definitely evaluate Orlando again at the end of the year. My buddy Brady Tinker is working with the WCOFF in Dallas and that's always been a city we considered for the NFFC and NFBC. But we'll gladly stick with four and add online components down the road if Orlando can attract 3-4 leagues for both of our events this year.
TOMDOG,

My folks live in Murrysville.

Anyone who hasn't had a Primanti's sandwich has no idea what they are missing. Truly the best sandwich I ever had.

Ate two one drunk evening after a friend's bachelor party, and I don't think I ate for two days!

My favorite bars were on Carson Street, as when I lived there for 4 years, I liked to frequent Jack's and Brewski's. Brewski's is the "typical" Pittsburgh bar.... a house conveted into a bar where you used to be able to play pool for a quarter and get a 22 oz. draft for $1.50!

Not even sure if it is still standing since I haven't been down on Carson in quite some time.
GO PENS!

BillyWaz,
Both those places are alive and kickin, and Brewskis has a sign above the storefront stateing
HOME OF THE 23OZ DRAFT.
love the sowside.
But i quit drinking many years ago, however, back in the day i frequented all those pubs along carson street.(Thats part of why i had to quit).
Two points totally unrelated to this post.
1.THE PENS WILL WIN THE STANLEY CUP AND SAID CUP WILL FIND ITS WAY INTO 50% OF ALL PITTSBURGH PUBS
2.The NFL owners just opted out of their agreement with the players and are close to cutting off the head of their golden goose.
